As with the INDIA TODAY CONCLAVES 2002 & 2003, the third round held on March 12 and 13, 2004, provided a credible platform for a bold exchange of ideas among decision-makers and stakeholders, aimed at building a vision for India.
Organised by INDIA TODAY, the most widely read newsweekly in South Asia (it has a circulation of over 1 million and a readership of more than 15 million), the meet was characterised by a logical shift from the past, when the geopolitical and economic future of India had been traced while assessing the country's position in the new world order. The 2004 Conclave recognized the fact that India is now positioned to become a global leader. Economists believe that this could well be India's Century. The Conclave provided a rare opportunity to generate ideas that would make India realize its full potential.
